Lil Joe Cash is a 2008 Chestnut stallion who went down in the record books as the 2011 NRHA Open Futurity Champion with rider Andrea Fappani aboard.  He is sired by Nu Chex To Cash and out of RS Lilly Starlight who showed her tremendous versatility as the 2006 AQHA World Superhorse.  Nu Chex To Cash was shown over 400 times without taking a lame step and Lil Joe seems to be following in those footsteps by continuing show in aged events.

After winning the 2012 AQHA World Championship in Junior Reining, Lil Joe took a break from showing and spent some time in the breeding barn.  He reunited with 4 Million Dollar Rider, Andrea Fappani, in 2014 to win the NRHA $75,000 Shootout.  Fappani said that the horse "never felt better" and that he was as "strong and sound" as he'd ever been with only a few months back in a training program.

Lil Joe's oldest offspring were born in 2014 and we can't wait to see them in the showpen in a few years.  So far they exhibit all of the desired qualities in a world class reining horse.
